The recorder device is hidden inside the papers of the Notebook. Some sheets can be used and an extra set of sheet is also included in the box. The camera is located in the rings of the book in order to simplify its use. You could simply leave it on a shelf or carry it with you without being noticed.
The video option will always pick up the audio at the same time and save all files with the time and date stamped on them. This Notebook can record for up to 3 hours in FHD, 1080p with a great audio quality. There is also a possibility to see, in real time what is happening through your smartphone using the LawMate's free App; PV Cam Viewer. In this scenario we would connect to the device's Wi-Fi signal and not to internet so the connexion is good withing an approximated range of 10-15 meters.
The audio mode will be able to record up to 15 hours. In such cases, there is no need to place the Notebook in a particular angle. In order to get the best out of it, our suggestion would be to leave it in an open area and not inside a drawer or a cabinet.
