The YPSILON is a high performance digital audio stereo transmitter optimized for covert deployment. Excellent audio quality is guaranteed by low-noise microphone preamplifiers. A digitally controlled analogue AGC gives an extra 48 dB of control over the audio input. The device is supplied in a shielded PCB with fixed antenna and connectors for the microphones and power supply.
Encryption
The audio information can be encrypted using a the AES128 algorithm in order to ensure a high degree of security of the transmitted signal.
The digital modulation scheme ensures excellent spectral efficiency whilst reducing the occurrence of out of band interferences to adjacent services.
Extensive operational range
Extensive operational range is guaranteed by a high efficiency power amplifier. The device is capable of delivering up to 27dBm (500mW) on a 50 ohms load, whilst requiring less than 300 mA from the power supply. Lower power consumption can be achieved by reducing the emission level. Remote management The transmitter embeds a dedicated device to remotely switch the unit on/off and control its emission parameters (frequency, power, audio mode).
