The AXIS P8221 network I/O audio module has eight (8) configurable digital input/output ports. It has an output for a speaker and superb audio quality with balanced microphone support. It can be integrated with a network video system and the output ports can be connected to devices that open doors or turn on lights.
The AXIS P8221 network I/O audio module uses Power over Ethernet for easy installation. There is no need for an external pre-amplifier as it has a built-in low power amplifier making it perfect for small speakers.
Sensors such as a door switch, smoke detector, IR detector or glass break detector can be connected as inputs in order to trigger an alarm.
